Ickford After School Club
Welcome to Ickford After School Club. We aim to provide high quality; affordable and accessible childcare for children aged 4 1/2 to 11 years of age, in a safe and supportive environment and to work in partnership with parents in the provision of this childcare.

We welcome the involvement of as many parents and carers as possible. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Our After School Club offers care for children aged 4 1/2 to 11 years of age. Sessions are held at Ickford School Hall, Monday to Friday, 3.15 pm - 6.00 pm. We offer regular and ad-hoc bookings only for the children of Ickford Combined School.

Ickford After School Club is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and a Registered Charity (No. 1036452). It is also registered annually by OFSTED.

Staff
The regular staff in the group are:

All staff are OFSTED and CRB checked.
A Typical Day
A typical day involves free play and craft activities from 3.15 pm until 6.00 pm. A wide range of activities and play opportunities are available for children to choose from, such as arts and crafts, sports, board games etc. The Friday session includes a drama club. The children will share a fruit snack, toast and biscuits etc. and a drink. There will be an opportunity for children to do their homework. Children are also encouraged to help tidy up the equipment.
Fees
The After School Club charges £6.00 per child per session, with a discounted rate of £5.50 per session for siblings. Fees are payable in advance and receipts will be issued. Fees are not refundable if a child is off sick, on holiday, or unable to attend.

Notification of any change in fees will be given in advance.

Committee
The After School Club is run by an elected Committee which ensures that major decision making is in the hands of the parents who use the group. The Committee is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff.

The Chairman is currently Jan Thomas.
